Shopkick is in search of a Senior Account Executive to lead our Brand Partnerships efforts in New York City. This person will work closely with senior management and the national brand partnerships team. The Senior Account Executive will be tasked with driving revenue for Shopkick through brand marketing integrations with media and shopper marketing clients. This person will own, foster and grow client/agency relationships with the Entertainment, CPG, Technology and other major verticals. The Senior Account Executive must have a passion for great customer service and deliver results to clients that are on target and on time. This person will work with the regional Head of Brand Partnerships to help drive demand for execution of advertising/marketing plans with Fortune 500 clients. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Evangelize the Shopkick application and brand value proposition to the country’s largest marketers and their agency partners with a particular focus on New York City
  • Build and close a pipeline of campaigns and partnerships with Fortune 500 marketers across Entertainment, Gaming, CPG and Technology verticals
  • Develop strong creative proposals for brand customers
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets and other business health KPIs
  • Travel and visit brand partners and agencies to build/nurture relationships
  • Identify and oversee account growth and relationships building for a defined territory
  • Interface with executives and day-to-day contacts at partner organizations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience in media sales
  • Established track record of closing deals with large Entertainment, Gaming, CPG and Technology brands
  • Excellent client management and communication/interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills, written and oral
  • Knowledge of new media/marketing channels, monetization models and business landscape
  • Must be self-starter, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Experience and expertise in mobile or interactive technologies is a plus
