Senior Licensing Coordinator, Latin America

Licensing | Hybrid in Mexico City, Mexico | Temporary | From MXN $525,000 to MXN $591,648 per year

Job Description

Sesame Workshop is looking for a Senior Licensing Coordinator, Latin America to work in our Mexico City, Mexico office. This position will provide sales, administrative, project and business support to the Enterprises Businesses in Latin America. Outreach to new partnerships and help local and headquarters teams manage global and multi-territory partnerships locally.

Please note: The role is based in Mexico City, Mexico and is a 1-year contract.


Responsibilities

Oversee projects including but not limited to:

  • Ensure[ new businesses and product development alignment with Sesame strategy.
  • Develop and maintain licensees’ and partner files for all product & business submissions.
  • Inventory creative assets currently with licensees and partners.
  • Gather and maintain information for the creation of product development schedules including key milestones in process.
  • Create and maintain official product documentation for all LatAm licensees including line lists, product photos and catalogs.
  • Support team by providing creative management tasks (presentations, decks with inspiration from other markets, mockups for presentations showing products and displays) for additional key licensees.
  • Assist with administrative and project management on multiple projects as they become available (Consumer Products, Schools, Themed Entertainment, Live Shows, Media Distribution, and New Businesses), prioritizing projects across multiple categories.


Business Support including but not limited to:

  • Project and support forecast based on annual budget. Assist in researching potential new partners and staying apprised of competitive and marketplace trends.
  • Assist in requesting, collecting, and organizing line lists, sell-in & sell-thru data, retail updates, marketing & merchandising plans, etc.; coordinate business reviews, line reviews, and product development meetings with licensees and creative resources on a regular basis, and attend when needed.
  • Schedule, conduct, and recap recurring business updates with licensees and partners.
  • Coordinate and gather quarterly forecasts from partners and organize financial data.
  • Assist with deal memo preparation as requested in line with the US team.
  • Assists in preparing decks, one-sheets, and pitches for various internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate materials for trade shows, advertising, events, and line reviews.
  • Provide business management tasks for additional key licensees, including but not limited to, licensee performance analysis, minutes preparation, deal memo preparation, meeting coordination, etc.
  • Support the management of the day-to-day business of licensees and partnerships of the different lines of business.
  • Drive new business by identifying new licensing and themed opportunities and prospecting, pitching, and negotiating with potential partners of all lines of business.
  • Negotiate and draft deal memos for renewals, new deals, and modifications and work with the Legal department on contract development, process organization, and execution.
  • Cross-department collaboration with Social Impact, Marketing, legal & finance areas.
  • Supervise and gather quarterly forecasts from licensees and partners assisting & analyzing them to help effectively manage the budget.
  • Assists in preparing and presenting decks and pitches at various internal and external meetings, trade shows, advertising, events, and line reviews.
  • Supports Enterprises Senior Director LatAm by performing creative management tasks (presentations, decks with inspiration from other markets, mockups for presentations showing products and displays) for additional key partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of work experience
  • Consumer products sales experience
