Please note that this is a temporary role located in our New York City Headquarters. 


Key Areas of Responsibility:


·       Audit 3rd party cost reports, prepare and upload 3rd party production costs and communicate with Production Accountant if any documentation is missing


·       Provide monthly production Cost Reports to Production team for review


·       Provide Project Finance with EFC revisions for Quarterly Estimate reporting on all projects involving Domestic Production


·       Maintain Project Checking Account and maintain account balance


·       Generate CASHet invoice to replenish prepaid cards and send checks via UPS, reconcile accounts and act as administrator of accounts


·       Enter all budgets into Movie Magic Budgeting.


·       Set up new vendor watchlist paperwork, tag all A/P and Journal Entries with 1099 code, ensure 1099 vendors have EIN in PS record


·       Manage the weekly payroll distributions for productions (including WGA writers), upload Cast & Crew payroll in PSL


·       Cash Flows as needed


·       Process invoices and generate weekly check runs


·       Prepare EFT and Wire Transfers for supervisor release and create manual JEs to record transactions


·       Manage Chart of Accounts maintenance and identify reclasses


·       Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and on-site financial support when needed


·       Manage a billing and payment schedule for each series


·       Maintain all physical and electronic records of PSL transactions

Qualifications:


·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 


·       At least 10 years of work in TV Production Accounting


·       Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint


·       Movie Magic Budgeting a must


  • PSL Accounting experience a must
  • Cast and Crew Payroll experience a must
  • Experience with Vista Accounting, PCards and other Production Accounting programs a+
