Office Assistant

Job Description

Seismic Games is seeking a clever, self-motivated, and reliable Office Assistant to help build the next generation of social games.

Seismic Games’ teams are small, focused groups of game development professionals.  We continually strengthen our best-in-class team to tackle a wide array of challenges.  Our creative department and executive management have extensive experience delivering  AAA titles in the mobile, console & PC markets..

Office Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Managing office reception and other internal office scheduling needs

  • Greeting visitors, including having them complete our sign-in process

  • Liaising with external vendors to identify needs and resolve issues

  • Ordering and organizing office and kitchen supplies

  • Managing office appearance, notably common areas and conference rooms

  • Assisting with the logistics for interviews and meetings

  • Coordinating facilities management

  • Coordinating cultural/social events for the teams

  • Providing support to HR and IT

  • Taking on special projects as needed

 

Basic job requirements:

  • You’re highly organized, a habitual note-taker and list-updater.

  • You prioritize keenly. Juggling is second nature to you.  

  • You’re passionate about building a standout company culture (because if you’re spending 8+ hours away from your home, it had better be at an awesome place).

  • You have impeccable writing and communication skills.

  • You care about the harmony of your workspace and overall office environment.

  • You maintain strict confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

  • You’re able to lift 25 pounds (e.g. accepting deliveries from drivers, assembling and moving office furniture).
