Seedling reimagines the world of play by designing immersive play experiences that combine
old school physical products with new technologies. Founded in 2007 by Phoebe Hayman,
Seedling's award winning product line includes the Littles collection for preschoolers which
offers a gentle introduction to Augmented Reality, Design Your Own Virtual Reality Maze for
kids 8+, and over 100 imaginative activity kits designed to foster empowerment, encourage
empathy, and build creative confidence.

Seedling is looking for a Temporary (Seasonal) Customer Care Coordinator to join our team in Downtown,
Los Angeles. This position is anticipated to last from November through mid-January and is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday work schedule and some weekends as needed. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, experience working in customer service, is a team-player, and understands the importance of going “above and beyond” to serve the needs of our customers. This person will be responsible for email, phone, chat and assist with e-commerce orders making sure orders are processed
efficiently and correctly.

Job Description:
● Respond to incoming phone calls, emails and social media from customers regarding
products, billing, shipping and general client concerns
● Maintain and promote a professional, friendly, confident and positive rapport with each
and every customer while providing exceptional support
● Ensure that all inbound customer communications are handled in a timely and
professional manner
● Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, returns, inquiries, and
● On-going communication with Web & Sales team on inventory, website functionality and
addressing any issues
● On-going communication with the warehouse on shipping priorities and instructions
● Ability to follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
● Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be
informed of any changes in company policies
● Assist with placement of order refunds or exchanges
● Performs other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Requirements:
● At least 1-2 years of customer support experience
● Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
● Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evening
and some holidays
● A quick learner with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
● Experience handling multiple channels such as chat, email, phones, etc
● Strong communication skills via phone including active listening
● High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
