Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Web Application Systems Manager to work on-site at our San Francisco headquarters.

The Position

The Web Application Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications within the organization. This role involves managing a team of developers, coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring the effective functioning of web-based systems. The Web Application Systems Manager also plays a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives and maintaining the overall health and performance of web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Digital Enablement Team with a focus on Online Account Opening and Digital Banking efficiencies and functionalities.

  • Provide project management to oversee the entire lifecycle of web application development projects from concept to deployment and maintenance.

  • Periodic review of business rules with internal business units to ensure proper documentation and risk assessment.

  • Enabling the business to maximize our digital channel investments by building cross-sell APIs and data analytics for targeted marketing across all channels.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates and address concerns related to digital banking solutions.

  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes across all digital platforms to ensure reliability, security and compliance.

  • Implement tools and processes for monitoring and analyzing the digital platform performance, and proactively identify performance issues to ensure optimal user experience.

  • Develop and implement internal reporting tools to provide insights into member behavior, user engagement and growth opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors monitoring service levels and ensure vendor compliance with agreed-upon terms.

  • Establish and manage budgets related to all digital platforms.

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery plans tailored to safeguard critical data and operations.

  • Manage user accounts and access controls for all core platforms, implementing measures to protect customer information and prevent unauthorized access.

  • Collaborate and manage vendor relationships, including monitoring help desk tickets, support agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.

  • Partner with IT Manager to work on the Onshore & Cloud infrastructure including servers, networks, databases and related hardware/software. Implement and maintain systems for monitoring infrastructure performance and health. Plan, automate and execute upgrades, installations and configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Perform other duties commensurate to this position.

Who Are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • Must have a working knowledge of .Net (C# and VB), ASP.NET Web Services/Web APIs and SQL Server.

  • Banking industry experience with core banking system and data processing knowledge.

  • Proven experience in project management and digital banking platforms.

  • In-depth knowledge of web development technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Must be proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications.

  • Must be familiar with creating the project plans and coordinating with different stakeholders.

  • Must be skilled at writing SQL queries. Familiarity with Corelation (Keystone) is a plus.

  • Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management, organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills; to solve problems as they occur and escalate as needed.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills, ability to motivate and direct work through the efforts of others, discuss problems and solutions with all levels of staff and management and be approachable to the team.

  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Must be be authorized to work in the United States. The Credit Union will not sponsor any type of work visa.
