Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Senior Consumer Loan Funding Processing Specialist. This position is located at the corporate office location at 770 Golden Gate Ave. in San Francisco.
The Senior Loan Funding Processing Specialist is responsible for the review, verification, completion, and timely funding of consumer loans both direct and indirect via phone and online loan applications. The position is also responsible for the reconciliation and processing of the department’s Collateral Protection Insurance files and functions as a back up to the Sr. Consumer Loan Portfolio Specialist as needed.
This individual is member service driven and well versed in a consumer lending environment. They understand how to efficiently process loans and communicate decisioning as well as the most current information on the Credit Union’s products and services to the membership.
They also understand how to work with team members reviewing loan requirements, matters affecting approval, and to ensure the timely and accurate release of funded loans. As well as functioning as the workflow coordinator of daily production items to the Consumer Lending team (i.e. Indirect/Direct Applications, Submission, & Service Requests), escalating production challenges as needed.
