Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Retail Operations Manager in our San Francisco office.
Position Summary
The Retail Operations Liaison/Manager will support our retail team and Head of Member Experience in ensuring operational excellence across all retail branches. The Retail Operations Manager will oversee the operational activities of the Credit Union branches. This role involves ensuring that all branches operate efficiently, comply with regulatory requirements, and deliver world class member service. The successful candidate will collaborate with branch managers and other business partners to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic business goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
Manage and optimize daily operations across multiple branches.
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.
Develop, implement, and modify retail delivery procedures to ensure efficient member service and manage risk effectively.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Performance Management:
Create and monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure operational efficiency.
Member Experience:
Champion initiatives and process improvements to enhance member service and satisfaction.
Ensures high quality service and sales practices which promote member satisfaction, retention and expansion.
Strategic Planning
Develop, implement, and modify retail delivery procedures to ensure efficient member service and manage risks effectively.
Work closely with Credit Union leadership on sensitive risk matters and offer solutions.
Who Are You
Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail banking operations, with a focus on management.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to be well organized, team-player, motivated and flexible with working hours, able to work Saturdays, holidays and overtime as needed, maintaining attendance and punctuality.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
