Job Title: Strategic Product Specialist  

Job Location: Store Support Center, Mattoon, IL

Reports to: VP of Marketing

FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the Strategic Product Specialist is to lead research and analyze co-branded credit card usage trends, and formulate and recommend strategies to maximize retention, growth, and profit.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for overseeing and analyzing activation trends, usage and retention, and development of marketing campaigns for co-branded credit card
  •  Own the strategy, mailing coordination, reporting, analysis and provide recommendations for future campaign implementation
  • Analyze customer behavior, competitor offerings and the industry landscape to enhance product offerings and customer experience
  • Evaluate profit, competitive and sales performance as compared to plan or key metrics
  • Create business justifications and functional requirements for product and site features
  • Use data analysis and industry best practices to develop product ideas and program enhancements
  • Conduct regular analysis of implemented changes including plan performance, market trends, competition performance, and identity opportunities of change and growth
  • Interacts with key stakeholders across the business to deliver insights that drive the business goals (to include but not limited to: Executives, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Credit Card partners)
  • Develop and present presentations and training on new credit card programs and data
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 7+ years of credit card product management experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education is applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences

  • Good visual acuity
  • Close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
