Job Title:                                Store Planning Administrative Assistant

Job Location:                         Store Support Center, Mattoon, IL

Reports to:                            Director of Store Planning

FLSA Status:                          Hourly Non-Exempt

                                                                                                                                               

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to support the Store Planning Team in daily operations at the Innovation Store, Test Center, New Stores, and Remodels. They will work closely with multiple areas across our retail business including purchasing, operations and distribution.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with Project Manager to assist with all components of innovation center duties
  • Responsible for managing calendars for vendor sets, in and out dates for products, and meetings in the Innovation Store and Test Centers
  • Responsible for maintaining the Timing and Action Calendar for New Stores
  • Processing and logging invoices for the Store Planning Department, New Stores, and Remodels
  • Responsible for maintaining store supplies and fixtures and keeping a log of inventory in the Distribution Centers
  • Oversee and manage Vendor sets
  • Assist with the unloading of trucks for the Innovation Store and Test Center
  • Ensure price changes of merchandise are up to date
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail preferred
  • Results-Oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and locations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Prior warehouse, forklift or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • ·         Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
  • Ability to complete computer-based training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull a minimum of 25 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds as business dictates.
  • Good visual acuity
  • Close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
