JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the Replenishment Manager is to manage and innovate the Replenishment Specialist’s process. Will give direction, develop strategies and improve efficiency of the current process with functions related to product selection, execution, and communication to support company merchandise strategy and goals.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with Category Managers, Inventory Planners, and Sourcing to support driving sales, managing inventory, and achieving the financial goals of the department
  • Lead our associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Thrive and reinforces Thrive skills with managers reporting to you
  • Collaborate with Stores and Distribution Centers on product and order issues
  • Manage execution of weekly replenishment orders (RSO’s) as assigned
  • Manage the process to maintain vendor and product information (style, SKU, pricing UPC, etc.) in IMU
  • Provide direction to set up new vendors, items and initial orders for seasonal and/or basic programs
  • Monitor inventory allocations by store
  • Monitor Purchase Orders (PO’s) for on-time shipping and fulfillment percentage and follow up with vendors as needed
  • Maintain order files and execute PO cleanup
  • Oversee the communication with stores on order points, PO issues, transfer requests and other items as needed
  • Follow up on the execution and receipt of all new store ordered
  • Collaborate with Store Planning on modifications to planograms (POG’s)
  • Maintain strong knowledge of systems (Eagle, Latitude, etc.)
  • Generate special orders as needed and communicate with Stores as necessary
  • Creating and monitoring orders for advertised items to maintain 98.5% in-stock
  • Monitor weekly replenishment against the Open to Buy to maintain planned inventory levels
  • Monitor the freight calendar and insure items coming in are split or allocated prior to arrival
  • Prepare weekly ad hoc reporting and monthly advertising recaps for Category Manager
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in a retail environment preferred within purchasing, inventory planning, replenishment or similar 
  • Prefer experience having 5+ direct reports
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates strong listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability with problem solving and retail math
  • Proficiency with typing and 10-key
  • Able to independently organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to contribute and collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
  • Ability to complete computer-based training

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Managing a team of replenishment specialists and their process, innovation and progress
