Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Location: Corporate Office, Mattoon, IL

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

                                                                                                                                     

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiting Coordinator supports the full-cycle recruiting process for the corporate office, as well as our 110+ locations. This position manages the administrative functions of the recruiting department, helping the company to continue to hire the best of the best talent. 

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Complete the pre-employment onboarding steps for corporate new hires, such as drug screening, background checks, new hire paperwork needed prior to first day, office supplies needed, and IT needs
  • Conduct new hire orientation for corporate new hires
  • Process and manage relocation process for new hires and current associates
  • Support the recruiting team by conducting initial contact with applicants and posting positions
  • Schedule interviews, send online assessments, and send video interviewing links
  • Follow up with candidates and with the hiring managers to ensure timeliness of the recruiting process
  • Act as a point-of-contact for associates on recruiting-related questions
  • Coordinate and/or complete reference checks as needed
  • Coordinate and sign up for career fairs
  • Manage career fair and event giveaways, along with updating the recruiting material
  • Work closely with colleges to network and to schedule speaking engagements
  • Coordinate and make reservations for candidate travel (i.e. flight and car arrangements)
  • Work with the hiring managers to create and update job descriptions
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and store management on managing the new store opening process, including contacting colleges, employment offices, and veteran offices, along with coordinating the open interview event
  • Update recruiting reports that are distributed to hiring managers
  • Manage any incoming emails from careers@ruralking
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years Recruiting and/or Human Resources experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
  • Ability to prioritize and organize assignments to meet deadlines with exceptional accountability and follow up
  • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
  • Ability to complete computer-based training

  • Close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
