Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Reports To: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Corporate Office in Mattoon, IL

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

                                                                                                                                               

JOB SUMMARY

This position provides administrative support to benefits, risk management and safety, and training groups within the Human Resource department.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with benefit enrollment activities including FSA/HSA account setups
  • Support benefit coordination, and termination activities
  • Use report tools to assist with ACA compliance tracking
  • Monitor and track 401k enrollment activities and communications
  • Provide administrative support function for Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Review workers’ compensation claim information to identify and resolve claim discrepancies
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to process and tender vendor claims
  • Prepare monthly scorecard reports for benefits, work comp & liability claims, and LMS

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years administrative office experience, with preference in the HR department.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have professional written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills in Work, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize and work independently with superior attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and ability to prioritize assignments

  • Good visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively to all audiences
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Close vision for PC work
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
