Job Title:               E-Commerce Customer Service Representative – Tier 1

Job Location:       Store Support, Charleston, IL

Reports To:           E-Commerce Operations Manager

FLSA Status:        Hourly Non-Exempt

Availability:           Available to work evenings and weekends

                                                                                                                                      

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the eCommerce Customer Service Representative is to handle customer phone calls and orders, making the customers online shopping experience enjoyable.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Take customer phone calls
  • Reach out to manufacturers for answer regarding a customers’ order
  • Respond to customer live chats
  • Order management
  • Track/open customer returns
  • Communicate with coworkers to insure customer are handled in a timely manner
  • Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products with advanced level proficiency with Excel
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated, problem-solver, results oriented and delivers on deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
  • Ability to complete computer-based training

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences
  • Good visual acuity
  • Close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
