Job Title:  Corporate Director of Finance

Job Location:  Mattoon, IL

Reports to:  VP of Finance

FLSA Status:  Salaried Exempt

Exempt Classification:  Administrative

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Director of Finance is a strategic position with a hand-on approach in finance operations, business planning and budgeting, and administration.  This position plays a critical role in partnering with the Executive Team in strategic decision making and operations.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to leadership
  • Evaluate all aspects of the business to measure overall performance and return on investment on various business segments
  • Oversee financial modeling activities for the company to ensure that the appropriate capital is available to meet the company’s growth objectives
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordinate and lead audit processes and assess any changes necessary
  • Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
  • Update and implement all necessary finance policies and accounting practices
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 10+ years applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in broad financial management
  • Experience on project teams and managing a segment of the project work
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results
  • Strong problem-solving and partnership skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reports
  • Advance proficiency in MS Office, most notably Excel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Good visual acuity and ability to communicate
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  •  Close vision for PC work
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
