Senior Accountant

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Safe-T-Rack. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The Senior Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights into financial performance and drive strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Conduct regular financial audits and assist with external audits to maintain compliance.
• Provide financial insights and support for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
