Director, Digital Experience

You live in the digital landscape and know all the latest trends, understanding how they can be used by brands to communicate with consumers. You’ve built your career using this knowledge to collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals.

Your ability to speak developer, digital and creative helps you fill a pivotal role as one of the masterminds behind the future of experiential, retail and product development. 

You’ll report to one or more of the Partners, there’s only two and they’re both great.   


Our Digital Experience Director:

Manages internal digital teams; acts as mentor to help educate, organize and track team growth. Strategically assigning work across teams, while ensuring both quality relationships and work.

Establishes consistent weekly, quarterly and yearly meetings with team to evaluate work and relay agency expectations.

Defines, implements and leads the overarching digital strategy for the agency, identifying key platforms and technology solutions.

Identifies possible Revenue Streams: product development, apps, proprietary processes and collaborates with teams to implement

Works closely with the executive team on new business pitches, determining the technical approach and recommended platforms and solutions. Work with account leads to pitch digital solutions, resulting in account growth and confidence.

Provide thought leadership to the rest of the agency in emerging digital trends and technologies. Consistently research new technologies that will enhance the work both creatively and financially

Works with creative and strategic leads to craft solutions that meet the clients’ needs. Oversees all digital and experiential projects for Agency

Translates creative vision into a coherent digital strategy that will enhance the client portfolio and product. Partner with brand creative leads to bring their concepts to life through great digital experiences

Works with the strategy team to assess measuring tools, new media and platforms for interactive, mobile and social.

Creates and implements new optimization methods to improve the customer experience

Promotes the Agency’s digital capabilities: From photo booths to projection mapping to ecomm, marketing sites, mobile apps, VR, interactive installations and wearables

Provides innovative solutions that are technology based. Integrates the technical team into the agency’s creative and strategic processes

Meets regularly with department heads to ensure digital team is meeting expectations and to ensure overall effective communication

Partners with the Technical Lead to ensure quality and consistent digital executions


Please walk in with:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Technology preferred

8+ years of experience leading a creative or technology team delivering innovative and effective development solutions, preferably at an agency

A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills

The ability to move fluidly between the digital and creative arenas while providing solid communication and partnership with both areas  

A strong technical background but with an understanding of creative design

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Effective, clear and concise presentation skills

Ability to interact and collaborate with other departments within the agency to solve problems
