The Job 

Our Director of Client Services:

Manages internal Account team, mentoring, training and providing support to staff while advocating for the department across the agency. 

Works with the Account Managers to forecast quarterly and annual revenue by client.

Partners with the Managing Director, Operations to track revenue, profit and other financial metrics.

Oversee the account planning process for new and existing clients. Proposes annual business strategies to improve anything from brand awareness to sales KPI.

Guide the Account team to identify new opportunities within current accounts and help them to cross-sell agency services.

Partners with the Marketing Manager to identify targets, leads and opportunities as well as develop pre-qualifying guidelines for new business opportunities. 

Pitches and presents Roundhouse capabilities to potential new clients and partners with Creative leads to position and defend all work.

Works with the Head of Production to onboard new clients and set up best practices for agency success.

Sets rates, terms and contracts while overseeing the financial negotiation process with procurement and new clients.


Please Walk in With:

A Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Design Management.

At least eight (8) years account or brand management experience as the primary owner of multiple client relationship(s) in the creative industry.

At least five (5) years managing a client services team including mentoring, coaching and providing feedback.

Extensive client-facing exposure and account direction; comfortable providing strategic solutions.

A proven track record of creating annual account plans that map to client strategy and goals.

Demonstrated success in managing large client accounts, retaining and expanding portfolios. 

Strong financial negotiation skills as well as a deep understanding of metrics such as revenue, profit, labor vs COGS and margin.

An understanding of brand and business strategy – ideally within apparel, footwear, CPG or tech industries.
