Designer

Job Description

You have a knack for bringing stories to life through strategic, creative and meaningful design.

You’re tapped into the latest visual trends, and you can twist, turn and transform them into fresh, exciting and on point expressions. Your work with typography, illustration, photography and layouts is next level, and it enhances the digital and social landscapes. You take to emerging technologies and incorporate them with unique thinking across a plethora of project types. You’re disciplined, thoughtful, connected to culture, and you can bring your elevated aesthetic into whatever design challenge comes your way.

You’ll report to the Creative Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Create concepts and execute designs – from visualization and concepting to execution and delivery – that successfully translate the clients’ business needs into visual solutions that support overarching creative concepts.
  • Provide creative points of view and communicate them to the creative team; presenting multiple design solutions for a given brief.
  • Work with key production leads and project managers, producers, and design teams to ensure design visions are executed in a consistent, world-‐class manner. 
  • Provide high design quality and service standards that fall within budgets, scopes and timelines.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design, digital and social media trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design preferred.

  • At least 3 years design experience with consumer brands – preferably at an agency.

  • A portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and a mastery of visual communication.

  • Expertise in traditional design and one or more of the following: digital, social, photography, typography, layout, illustration.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products and a deep understanding of emerging technologies.

  • A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills. 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Effective, clear and concise presentation skills.

  • Ability to interact and collaborate with other departments within the agency to solve problems.
