Childcare Coach

Kids | Apple Valley Campus | Temporary | From $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Childcare Coach is required to perform a range of duties including team leadership, family relations, empowerment, and management of teams.

Note: This role is a temporary, 15-20 hour/week role.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Childcare Coach is required to perform a range of duties including team leadership, family relations, empowerment, and management of teams.

  • Organizing and maintaining weekly Childcare Associates. This includes, but is not limited to: sending weekly communication, setting up/tearing down rooms, thorough sanitization of rooms, interaction with families, etc.

  • The Childcare Coach will fill in for any positions that are in need during weekly childcare shifts.

  • Maintain constant communication with Campus Kids Pastor to ensure childcare processes are running smoothly.

  • Supervise and oversee the safety and security of childcare staff and children.

  • Ensure that all environments are clean and healthy for kids, and that childcare employees are following all safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper cleaning procedures are upheld.

  • Follow up on all reported concerns regarding child or parent behaviors. All instances should be communicated to the Campus Kids Pastor.

  • Greet parents, establish trust and rapport by building relationships with the employees and children in your care.

  • Responsible for tracking room capacities/registrations.


Qualifications

  • As a religious organization, River Valley Church makes hiring decisions that are aligned to our faith and beliefs. This position needs to be held by a follower of Christ.

  • Position will be held by an individual that is familiar with River Valley KiDS policies and procedures.

  • Experience in managing teams and developing others.

  • Strong Interpersonal skills. Must be able to talk to both kids and parents alike.

  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, while maintaining good attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Live out and are familiar with River Valley Church’s cultural values.

  • Ability to appropriately handle stressful situation.


Experience

Preference will be given to individuals who have served in River Valley KiDS previously.
