About Us:

Ripcord is the world's first robotic paper digitization company and we are going after the outmoded but very large paper records market (think, medical records, company HR records, company financial records, legal case files, etc). For 30 years we've been talking about the paperless office, but have yet to realize it. Our mission is to be the company that takes the world paperless. We are doing this by building a first of its kind robotic machine and software platform that will completely transform the records management market.

We raised our Series A last year from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Lux Capital, and Comet Labs. Our seed investors and advisors include Steve Wozniak, Bruce Scott, Chris C Kemp and Jon Callas.

Our team is fun, driven, and energetic. Every day we work with industrial robots, computer vision systems, and a diverse stack of software tools to tie it all together. We play VR, fly drones, and eat too much bacon. 

The Recruiting Coordinator represents Ripcord to the external world. We are looking for someone to build an exceptional experience for every candidate going through the interview process, regardless of the end result. We need a self-motivated person who to make the process smooth and enjoyable for both our candidates and hiring team. You’ll use your super organizational skills to schedule interviews and usher candidates through the hiring process. This is a 6-month temporary position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hiring process from initial contact through offer, not letting anything slip through the cracks

  • Schedule phone screens and interviews

  • Guide candidates from initial point of contact through offer stage, keeping them in the loop and prepared for what to expect and when

  • Advertise jobs on our various platforms

  • Utilize applicant tracking system to stay organized and complete the entire hiring process

  • Notify manager of position filled, start date, salary, clearance date, and new employee orientation date

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or similar human resources support role

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented

  • Excellent common sense and discernment – knowing when issues need to be called out

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, demanding environment

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and be inventive

  • Able to work with evolving systems and structures, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to changing environments and regulations

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Familiarity with using Google products (Mail, Calendar, and Docs)
