About Us:

Ripcord is the world's first robotic paper digitization company and we are going after the outmoded but very large paper records market (think, medical records, company HR records, company financial records, legal case files, etc). For 30 years we've been talking about the paperless office, but have yet to realize it. Our mission is to be the company that takes the world paperless. We are doing this by building a first of its kind robotic machine and software platform that will completely transform the records management market. 

Our team is fun, driven, and energetic. Every day we work with industrial robots, computer vision systems, and a diverse stack of software tools to tie it all together. We play VR, fly drones, and eat too much bacon.

Responsibilities:

You will provide building maintenance including daily inspections and continuous monitoring of our Hayward facility. You own it! You don’t need a lot of direction to make the office awesome. Nothing is too big or too small. You bring exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to leading with YES. You will be a valuable and essential member of our team, and work around exciting and innovative technology developed at Ripcord.

  • Perform ongoing facility inspections conducting walkthroughs to ensure all building systems are operational (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, flooring, ceiling, roofing, fire systems, signs, pest control, energy management, landscaping, etc)

  • Perform minor building maintenance but know when to solicit quotes from contractors for larger facility repairs and improvements

  • Stock food and other consumables

  • Model company safety policies and follow company security protocols

  • Unbox and assemble equipment, tools, materials, and other items

  • Occasionally run errands

  • Assist in preparing facility for meetings and events

  • Periodically shred and recycle paper products

  • Perform related duties similar to the above in scope and function as required by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself

  • Ability to learn skills quickly

  • Organized and able to multitask

  • A high level of integrity

  • Ability to work in close proximity to others and equipment

  • Ability to lift/pull/push 40 lb. multiple times per shift

  • Good communication skills and comfortable working well with all team members

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional on-call after hours and weekends

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Valid California Class C Drivers License with clean driving record

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency

  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
