The Role

RIOS is looking for a Development Security & Operations (DevSecOps) Lead that can own the hybrid cloud infrastructure RIOS is building out to support our worldwide RaaS deployments.  This includes continuation of the architecting and buildout of the RIOS virtual private cloud, and on-prem resources, and their associated secure connections.  RIOS is entering a phase of rapid growth.  Depending on performance & desired career trajectory, this role has the potential to be converted to a director level role.

Responsibilities of the Role Include:

● Maintain, build out, and own the architecture of RIOS's multi-layered zero trust network

● Own and be responsible for the reliability of the connected nodes of remote assets

● Build out CI/CD compatible pipelines for deploying and maintaining infrastructure

● Build out and maintain data collection and monitoring tools (e.g., Influx, Nagios, elastic search)

● Connect or build disparate tooling to serve internal and external customer requirements such as alerting, reporting, and triaging

● Detailed documentation of work products

Attributes of desired candidates may include some of the following:

● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience), preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.

● Master’s degree a plus

● 3+ years of industry experience

● Cloud proficient: AWS, GPC, Azure, DO, object stores (e.g., S3), etc.

● Containerization (e.g., Docker) and deployment/orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform,...) proficient

● Proficient in zero trust network practices, authentication (e.g., oath, IAM), and modern, large scale virtual private network management (e.g., IPsec or SSL), and NIST recommended security practices in general

● Experience with Postgres, SQL, and/or noSQL databases

● Adept software engineer including C++, Python, Bash, Linux deep understanding

● Actively practice the Git-based CI/CD workflow, automation & templating
