Reports To: Greg Van Ness, Director of Sales      

Job Description:

The Account Executive will sell ResortsandLodges.com’s Marketing and Advertising Distribution products, the world’s largest collection of unique lodging, to net new customers in an outbound / inside phone sales environment. The Account Executive must have advanced digital business acumen and a strong desire to succeed, as it is a critical unit in the growth of our company. The ideal fit for this role will have a hunger to grow their career in a fast-paced, competitive tech startup culture, and will desire to earn promotion to a successful Sr. Account Executive, Account Management role or Solutions Consultant.

Expectations and Duties:

  • Incredible weekly training; further development of your Hospitality-Industry Media, omnichannel Marketing, and SaaS-Software Sales knowledge.

  • Demo our Digital Marketing products and services to share our customer success stories and convert qualified prospects into loyal customers and advocates.

  • Make 35+ account contacts via phone per day.

  • Uncover problems and pain points via phone, email, text, and social media through effective questioning and rapport building at the General Manager and property owner level, while understanding their strategy for marketing.

  • Develop, update and effectively manage a quality pipeline throughout all stages of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

  • Consistently update the CRM based on company expectations and best practices.

  • Provide market trends and feedback to assist with product development and implementation activities.

  • The competitive desire to achieve and exceed monthly goals.

Who you are:

  • College degree preferred, but not required.

  • Proactive in driving revenue and managing all stages and activities associated with the sales-cycle, from proactively generating a lead to closing.

  • You have 1+ Years of Sales Experience with experience in over the phone sales.

  • Highly organized and exude an infectious positive attitude.

  • Want the ability to control your earning potential.

  • Coachable, honest, and belief in strong core values to keep you motivated.

  • You are willing to try things, think outside the box and are unafraid of failure.

  • You are a competitive hunter, who is looking to build the best plan of action to hit your sales goals.

Compensation & Incentives:

  • Total On-Target Earnings Year 1 - $63,000-$87,000
