The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for proactively soliciting appropriate business opportunities through a combination of tele-prospecting and direct sales to achieve personal and customer revenue goals. Responsible to learn how to support the customers and drive customer retention by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Overall responsibility for total revenue and yield strategies, implementation and results. Strategies will include market mix, pricing, status, direct sales, marketing, and acquisition status and results. Maximize profitability by improving conversion rate and customer retention. Accountable to market performance and potential performance as well as budget, forecast, and target goals.
Direct and manage all marketing and sales efforts to maximize revenue for the hotel.
Gap and case analysis – assess current technical and operational processes; make recommendations on improvements and best-practices with justified business cases
Solution design – serve as the subject matter expert for CRM, architecting configurations, customizations, integrations, and related workflows; lead the design process on key modules and functions
Standards development – develop and continue to refine standards and tools, employing standards where required to drive efficiency and common workflows
Reporting development and delivery – creation and distribution of reports via Power BI, including the creation of security roles and groups for controlled access
Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly report, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
Develop customer engagement process, conversion tactics, and deploy strategies through a review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management.
Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
Conduct/attend daily business review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetings and other meetings as required/ requested.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Marketing: 8 years (Preferred)
MBA or MSc in Marketing degree required
Internet Marketing Experience required. Previous sales experience or experience as a recruitment specialist required. Ability to inspire, lead and develop a team by example.
