The SEO Specialist is a full-time role assigned to work in our Tempe, AZ office location. However, ReputationDefender's Tempe office is currently closed due to COVID-19. We will interview, hire, onboard, and train for this position entirely remotely to ensure the safety of our candidates and employees during the coronavirus outbreak. Candidates must be prepared to work remotely from home for the immediate term and must also be willing to work onsite in our Tempe, AZ office once we are able to return safely.
About the role:
The SEO Specialist is responsible for executing Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Online Reputation Management (ORM), and Content planning through technical, on-page, and off-site strategies. The position will play an integral role in the performance of our product while working closely with our writing team and account manager.
Develop and execute on site content improvements to enhance SEO and UX goals
Perform keyword research to identify opportunities to optimize web content and search results
Develop and execute Social Media Content Planning and strategies
Design, evaluate and monitor ORM-based tests
Providing SEO recommendations to website developers and designers to implement, including schema markup, title tags, meta descriptions, etc.
Analyze keywords and techniques used by competitors
Create reports that show progress for key SEO metrics
Guide the editorial and tech departments with various SEO improvement suggestions
Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines and reports to appropriate stakeholders
Leverage social media to improve ORM efforts
Strong knowledge of search engine optimization practices
Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
Detail orientation, time management, and analytical skills
Ability to both collaborate with a distributed team and work independently
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and ideas
Professional Skills & Qualifications
At least 3 years' experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Excellent communication skills
Experience with a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Proficient with popular keyword tools (Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog etc.)
Experience with Social media tools including Hootsuite, Buffer and Dlvr.it
