Flow Cytometry Laboratory | Woburn, MA | Full Time

About Us:

ReproSource Fertility Diagnostics Inc., is a clinical diagnostic company focused on fertility, located Northwest of Boston, and is seeking a flow cytometry MT for a growing Immunology department.

Successful applicant will be high-functioning team member assisting the Director of Flow Cytometry & Clinical Immunology, in day-to-day clinical diagnostic operations.

The Lab is CLIA, CAP, and NYS DOH compliant and performs High-Complexity Testing utilizing state of the art technologies and is committed to providing reproducible and clinically relevant results for high quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on sample processing and assay performance, according to written procedures

  • Operation and maintenance of BD FACSCanto II or 10-color flow cytometer

  • Reagent preparation and inventory maintenance

  • Ensuring all tasks performed in the lab are compliant with the above agencies

  • Successful applicant will be integral part of proficiency testing, assay validation, R&D studies and closely work with Director on any issues related to the quality of Flow Lab operations

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelors of Science degree in Medical Technology/Immunology/Biology or other Life Science discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience and preferably minimum of 1 year of clinical multi-color flow cytometry experience.

  • Strong hands-on bench experience with sample processing and assay performance in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Comfortable in daily lab tasks such as reagent prep, equipment maintenance and QC, record keeping and following written procedures.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Laboratory Information Management systems.

  • Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude.

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

  • Understands need of diagnostic lab to always meet deadlines and happy working to goal.

  • Proactive and able to prioritize in a dynamic work environment.

  • Able to adjust to a flexible schedule.

  • Experience in working in a regulated environment – CLIA, CAP, is desired.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work/reside in the USA.

Preferred:

  • Experience with operations and maintenance of Becton-Dickinson FACSCanto II and / or FACS Canto 10-color; knowledge of flow cytometry, principles and applications; experience in flow-based functional leukocyte assays; basic knowledge in biology and immunology.
