Manufacturing Engineer

Summary:

Located in the heart of Northern California's Sonoma County wine country in Santa Rosa, California,  Relucent is a proven partner for medical device development and manufacturing.

The role 

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet critical timelines. A successful Manufacturing Engineer must be able to work independently and with appreciable latitude for decision making and judgment. Your main responsibility will be to create detailed product reports and presentations for new products and services post completion. You will also interact with all departments to resolve manufacturing issues and serve on committees and teams as requested.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Work with customer to open and/or closed NCMR/CAPA.

  • Interact with all departments to resolve manufacturing issues and serve on committees and teams as requested.

  • Fixturing design and implement to production line to improve yield and output.

  • Works in a project team environment as an individual contributor on sustaining engineering and production support tasks.

  • Responsible for defining manufacturing processes and equipment requirements for new business and design changes.

    Requirements 

  • Bachelor degree required in Engineering.

  • Demonstrated experience in solid work.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with continuous process manufacturing engineering required.

  • Machine shop, machining and fabrication experience require.

  • Understanding of the design of manufacturing equipment or other machine tools a must.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and ability to create standard work.

  • Knowledge and basic skills in Lean Manufacturing and Project Management.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal necessary for professional interactions with both external and internal contacts.

  • Ability to work independently and with appreciable latitude for decision making and judgment.

  • Analytical thinker with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
