I am currently recruiting for an Amazon Business Lead to own our scaled Amazon Efforts across our two brands – Patchology and Plant Apothecary. Please note, when I say “lead” – I mean “LEAD”! We went live on Seller Central six months ago and have seen consistent – exciting – growth. At this point, it warrants management by one individual who can focus entirely on growing this business.

I am looking for a self-starter who is well versed in Amazon (ideally Seller Central, but I’ve seen enough overlap from Vendor we can still talk), who can take the reins and run this business end-to-end. You’ll handle strategy, business management & reporting, as well as executional details (yes, uploading images). You’ll have support from myself, our agency, and cross-functional team members – but you will be the one who needs to have the brain to spot the opportunity and the humility to roll up your sleeves to get it done.

For the rare among you who are still reading, this must excite you! Owning the business, chasing the growth, making a difference. This role is half sales and half marketing. It requires creative thinking, analytical skills, and strategic ability. Could this be you?

Some tasks on your to-do list could include:

  • Evaluate & optimize current ASIN listings
  • Manage ASIN content updates including copy, images, and SEO optimizations
  • Build AMZ brand pages
  • Manage inventory & forecasting
  • Entering FBA Orders with our DC
  • Own & operate ratings & review programs
  • Continually identify and evaluate new opportunities for better product listing optimization
  • Lead AMZ launch strategy for New Products
  • Leverage data to unlock insights to drive growth
  • Assist customers with issues and support when needed
  • Partner with Agency to optimize and/or expand advertising efforts
  • Expand AMZ to other Regions
  • Identify opportunities to maximize growth

Problems pop up all the time, come ready with some solutions we can work through. (3) “How can I help?” As a collaborative, small, company and team, we all come ready with that attitude vs. “it’s not my job” and (4) I tend to tell stories. My team tells me they (mostly) add value. :)
