Position: Technical Writer

Duration: 3 Years plus

Location: Onsite - Tallahassee, FL 32399

Qualifications & Experience

• Seventeen years of service writing policies.
• Twenty years of service writing, editing, and report production.
• Twenty years of services streamlining procedures and anticipate future needs.
• Ten years of experience assisting program staff in writing legislative bills analyses; guiding administrative rule updates, ensuring all rule promulgation paperwork was completed and filed.
• Ten years of experience acting as the primary technical reviewer for bureau documents that were routed for approval at the top levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively daily as assigned by the Department.
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension daily as assigned by the Department.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions daily as assigned by the Department.
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately as needed by the Department
• Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and from documentation daily as assigned by the Department.
• Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team daily as assigned by the Department.

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
