Title: Senior Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ

We are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist to provide top-tier technical support across a wide range of systems, with a strong focus on mobile and end-user device management.
This is your opportunity to contribute to a dynamic IT environment while supporting critical systems.
What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-level support for both desktop and mobility technologies.
  • Manage our Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment including app deployment, OS updates, and device security.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for mobile devices and cellular lines (95%+ accuracy required).
  • Oversee the life cycle replacement of mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to help desk tickets and provide excellent service to internal and external personnel.
Other Key Duties:
  • Create and maintain documentation and how-to guides for common procedures and issues.
  • Update and manage desktop and laptop images on the imaging server.
  • Support the Tanium environment for patch management and application updates.
  • Assist in managing both Mac and Windows 11 devices across the environment.
  • Collaborate on security updates and ensure compliance with City of Phoenix standards.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience providing technical infrastructure or software support.
  • 15 credit hours in computer science or a related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • Willingness to work irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and distinguish colors for electrical work.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a federal background check.
Bonus Points For:
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience supporting 200+ users, 2000+ computers, and 800+ mobile devices.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Hands-on experience with Intune and Workspace ONE MDM platforms.
  • Strong documentation skills (technical guides, project plans, scope of work, etc.).
