Responsibilities:
The offeror shall demonstrate the expertise of its proposed staff in data warehouse construction and implementation, set-up and management of SQL Server RDBMS, development and implementation of systems using web technologies, and selection and migration of applications and data to standardized software. Expertise in data modeling, process modeling, documentation of user requirements, project planning and user documentation must also be demonstrated. Resumes for all key personnel shall be submitted as part of the technical proposal. Each resume shall be no more than two (2) pages in length. For any key individuals proposed but not currently employed by the vendor, signed letters of commitment shall be provided.
This is a senior level technical position, often the most senior level technical position for all work for a particular DOJ component.
Requirements:
Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in actually doing the work on the systems being used, usually at least five years of such experience.
Other systems environments will require other specific sets of skills. Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications.
Experience in a litigation support environment extremely helpful. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Supervisory experience very strongly preferred.
Ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important, as will the demonstrated ability to analyze the attorneys' needs, and to design and implement a whole system solution responsive to those needs
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience in the appropriate area.
