Position Summary:
seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst / Systems Analyst with a strong background in business analysis, process modelling, systems analysis, data migration, and DevOps tools. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience and be proficient in documenting business processes, analysing data, managing backlogs, and coordinating testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze FDOT business processes and systems.
Document and diagram business/system workflows and interdependencies.
Facilitate joint analysis workshops with business stakeholders.
Gather and document user stories and technical requirements using Azure DevOps.
Maintain and manage backlogs, work items, and sprints.
Coordinate with development and data migration teams.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and perform QA tasks.
Perform oversight reviews and ensure deliverables comply with department standards.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in business process and systems analysis.
Proficiency in process modelling tools such as Microsoft Visio.
Strong SQL skills for query writing and data analysis.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of data migration practices and principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly Desired Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for requirements and backlog management.
Experience in Agile project environments.
Familiarity with Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5 of the Florida Administrative Code.
Understanding of change and release management, testing, and QA best practices.
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
Knowledge of State of Florida Project Management methodologies (PMBOK).

Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Technical understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC).
