Project Manager with Federal Experience

Required Skills:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in managing complex communication projects, preferably Federal Government Agencies.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall project management leadership and oversight.
  • Identify and assign resources, including sub-vendors and service providers.
  • Implement and follow industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Facilitate communication between the government and contractor.
  • Utilize ITIL methodologies in the program management structure.
  • Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP).
  • Organize and lead project kick-off meetings and orientation sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Track and manage project activities, schedules, and costs.
  • Provide regular status reports and participate in progress reviews.
  • Collaborate with FYSB staff and coordinate tasks according to program direction.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
