Job description: 

Radiant Digital is looking for a dynamic, motivated, self-starting Director of Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our company. Responsibilities including defining, managing and optimizing business functions such as Vendor Management, Compliance, Corporate IT, Human Resources (HR), Immigration, and Accounting. In collaboration with senior management, the Director of Operations will develop strategic goals for improving business operations, collaborate and lead others to achieve those goals, and report progress on a regular basis. 

  

Responsibilities: 

Compliance 

    • Work with finance and HR to address taxation and employment compliance issues 
    • Ensure that the company operates in compliance with relevant regulations 
    • Monitor and address all compliance related matters 

Vendor and Contract Management 

    • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors in both federal and commercial sectors 
    • Negotiate terms and rates of contracts with Vendors 

Facility Management and Procurement 

    • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress 
    • Manage all aspects of facilities 
    • Manage all aspects of procurement 

Corporate IT 

    • Oversee and maintain all aspects of IT operations 

    • Design and implement IT strategies and infrastructure 
    • Identify and eliminate security risks 
    • Assesses needs for new equipment and software 

HR and Immigration 

    • Oversee HR and Immigration activities 
    • Manage employee engagement activities 
  • Identify and target areas in which a business can improve operation 
  • Ensure that company policies are followed 
  • Optimize business workflows 
  • Set team and individual goals 

  

 Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines 
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. Vendors, Compliance, HR etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics 
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software 
  • Bachelors or equivalent and any industry certifications are highly desirable
