Job Description
Position: .Net Developer
Location: Remote - St. Paul, MN
Duration: 12 Months+
• The work is expected to be done remotely for now, but in the future may be required to work full time on site at the DOC Central Office located at 1450 Energy Park Drive, St. Paul, MN.
Desired Resource Qualifications for Lead Architect and Systems Analyst
• Four (4) years’ experience with .Net development
• Four (4) years’ experience with Entity Framework
• Three (3) years’ experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
• Two (2) years’ experience with ASP.Net Web Forms
• Criminal Justice experience
• Experience and knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle
• Data Extract Transfer Load (ETL) experience
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• Experience and knowledge in secure software development methodologies
• Current residence status within reasonable driving distance of St. Paul MN.
Sample Tasks
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs
• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes
• Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the .Net family of languages
• Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
• Use web-based tools to create and advance applications
• Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
