Title: Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 Months+ (Potential for Full-Time)

About the Role:

• G-Research is expanding its Core Compute Platform Engineering team as part of a major platform transformation. We’re seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our scalable, high-performance compute infrastructure.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance our Kubernetes-based compute platform.

• Collaborate with platform and dev teams to define standards and onboard applications.

• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of the platform.

• Participate in on-call rotation for critical Kubernetes infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.

• Deep understanding of Linux internals.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.

• Background in DevOps, SRE, or Networking.

• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Go, Ruby, or JavaScript.

• Passion for open-source technologies.
