Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description:
Under limited supervision, diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools, and other production equipment used in the development, manufacture, and testing of products. Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding. Uses measuring instruments and diagnoses and makes general repairs to production equipment. Determines replacement parts as needed. Performs limited welding, basic plumbing, and or grinding activities. Works from prints and schematics. Skills typically acquired through 2-3 years experience.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Hydraulic schematics
- Pneumatic schematics
- Electrical schematics
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Hands-on experience using diagnostic and precision measurement tools, including:
- Multimeters
- Megohmmeters
- Pressure gauges
- Temperature gauges
- Calipers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and working around high-pressure, electrical, and high-temperature systems.

- Industrial ovens, heaters, and blowers

- Hand and power tools
- Overhead cranes and forklifts
- Soldering equipment
