Description:
Under strict supervision, supports hunting and fishing trips for inidividuals and groups in support of client entertainment and operational requirements.
Plans itinerary for hunting and fishing trips applying knowledge of countryside to determine best routes and sites.
May transport people, equipment, and supplies to hunting and fishing areas.
Explains hunting and fishing laws to ensure compliance.
Instructs members of party in use of hunting or fishing gear.
Administers first aid to injured individuals.
Assists with facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
Cares for animals.
Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
Skills are typically acquired through 10 plus years experience in hunting, fishing, and camping in the outdoor recreation and guide industry.
Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
