Description:

JOB DUTIES:

The Guardium Administrator will be performing daily operations and administrative tasks to keep the environment fully operational. This includes assisting with GIM/STAP deployments, appliance patching, addressing Guardium alerts, troubleshooting Guardium components that are having issues, and more. This person will need to help validate deployments, traffic collection, create reports, and work with a variety of teams when troubleshooting issues. This person must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization regarding what Guardium does, findings, and work through obstacles, inquiries, etc. The ability to provide suggestions to improve performance, streamline workflow, and update runbooks is encouraged. This person must follow all existing runbooks, priorities, and workflows for the company, organization, and team. Additional duties can include configuring trusted applications, upgrades, investigation, and other internal documentation as needed.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

1-2 years of Guardium experience is required.
Knowledge of IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring concepts and configuration.
Understanding of Guardium policies and rules as well as architecture.
Experience witih GIM/STAP deployments.
Command line experience with Guardium cli and grdapi commands.
Knowledge of data security terminology is required.
Familiarity with CCPA, GDPR, SOD, SOX, NIST and other compliance guidelines is essential.
Knowledge of multiple operating system commands for Solaris, SuSE/RHEL, Windows, AIX, etc.
Ability to take ownership of issues and work to resolution with very little guidance.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Database experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata, etc. would be a strong skill set.
Experience with GIM/STAP is preferred.
Experience using Guardium ATAP or EXIT, and Ranger with Guardium is a plus.
CISSP certification would be an advantage.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Guardium certification would be desired.

REQUIRED SHIFT:

Standard work hours are required. Some night and weekend work may be needed. No on-call work is required.
