Responsibilities:
The Retail Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Retail team to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience across all our store locations (currently 24). This role will contribute to the Retail channel through executing various operational tasks, maintaining existing programs and reporting that enable the Retail channel to achieve their goal. Additionally, this role supports the execution of the retail event strategy, through coordination of a variety of in store events, testing new ways to enhance the in-store experience and connect our customer more closely to our brand and store teams.
Operations, 60%
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of new, existing or ad hoc operational documents, surveys, and reports, such as the Operational Dashboard.
- Maintains the supply program, ensuring timely supply ordering for stores to maintain inventory like eyewear replacement parts, shopping bags, product information tags and event materials.
- Assists with ongoing operations projects, such as updating SharePoint and creating presentations for retail conference calls.
- Responds to store inquiries and provides support on programs and reporting.
- Supports new store opening timelines and task lists; ensures timely follow-up with cross-functional partners on open action items to meet key deadlines or communicates roadblocks effectively.
- Maintains the calendar and routine reporting on the Shop Intranet site, ensuring site accuracy and reliability for the store teams.
- Assists with organizing retail off-sites, summits, and conference calls.
- Maintains and submits mall marketing for each store to ensure brand and offers are accurately represented on traffic driving forums.
Event Coordinator, 40%
- Works with the Director of Retail Operations and Marketing team to help plan and execute store events, from single-store to large-scale events.
- Seeks out and coordinates applicable vendors or service providers that best represent the brand.
- Coordinates with the Field Leadership and Shop Management team to effectively prepare the store(s) with event details and plan for execution.
- Orders and distributes supplies for events and ensures timely event execution.
- Creates and submits event briefs to the Creative team for marketing asset needs (signage, digital assets) to support the event, while also coordinating with Mall Marketing to achieve submission deadlines.
- Maintains event or vendor records, contracts, and post-event recaps.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail operations or event coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Experience working in project teams and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications.
- Ability to work well with others across different teams.
- Ability to work autonomously whether in an office environment or remote setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms).
Travel Requirements:
Up to 20% travel required, as needed for event or new store opening support. Will vary depending on store growth.
