Temporary Human Resources Assistant
We are looking for a motivated, organized, detail-oriented person to join our Human Resource team in Torrance, CA. We are dedicated to providing the BEST support to our staff and need a service-oriented individual who is committed to that mission!
• Process employment paperwork and follow-up to obtain all required documents
• Provide general administrative assistance to the HR Manager
• Assist with recruiting functions; schedule interviews, new hire orientations, and uploading resumes into applicant tracking system.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
• Answer calls coming in to the HR information line
• Assist with data entry and filing
• Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Have 1-2 years of clerical office experience
• Have a strong, working background using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Have solid computer and typing skills
• Be comfortable handling confidential information
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be extremely detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task
• Be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
• Be proactive and not afraid to ask questions
• Be responsible, reliable and punctual
• Be a team player with a positive attitude!
Compensation: $15-$17 per hour
