Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant – Aerospace Manufacturing position will be supporting our aerospace division, Amron Manufacturing, through a variety of administrative functions. This person will be responsible for completing assigned tasks and responsibilities to support the team; primarily in assisting with maintaining and organizing expected communications with our aerospace customers including running reports, providing updates, assisting with order receipts, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.
- Answering and responding to phone calls and emails
- Updating various spreadsheets
- Entering material requisitions
- Running, sorting and rectifying reports as required
- Maintaining communication with aerospace customers on orders
- Assisting with purchase order receipts
- Assisting with order entry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure; basic shop mathematics to include whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Comprehension of ISO/AS9100D standards is highly preferred.
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years of administrative experience is preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing, job shop and the aerospace industry is preferred.
