SharePoint Analyst

Job Description

The SharePoint Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Enterprise SharePoint governance plan, outlining the best practices and usage guidelines for the government agency. The Governance plan is regularly reviewed and updated to address gaps and improve guidance to Site Administrators and users for working with SharePoint in an enterprise environment. The Governance Analyst also works closely with the Project Manager and End Users to ensure compliance with the plan, perform compliance audits, prepare and deliver training, and participate in a number of business analysis activities in support of the overall SharePoint administration.

Required Skills

  • 2-4 years of SharePoint experience, particularly as a SharePoint Analyst or in customer support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, producing documentation, presentations, and workflow diagrams
  • The ability to evaluate critically and creatively while conducting analysis and identifying process improvements
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills, good organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • SharePoint configuration or light development experience
  • Certification or experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience working on IT systems projects
  • Active government Public Trust clearance
