PR Evangelist

The company and role:

Prezi is the zooming presentation software that is fundamentally changing the way in which ideas are developed and shared. Prezi currently has over 13 million users worldwide and is growing at a rate of over a million users a month. We are looking for a bright, energetic, and organized writer/editor with tech experience (specifically cloud based software) to join our PR team.  As the PR Evangelist, you will oversee, edit (and in many cases, write) all public-facing content at Prezi. Additionally, you will coordinate all US PR efforts; assist with international PR; and develop, pitch, and implement various PR campaigns.

Role responsibilities:

-Primary liaison to PR agency
-Write press releases
-Maintain internal positioning
-Oversee external promotional media
-Develop/implement PR campaigns
-Coordinate PR-related events
-Coordinate speaking engagements for executives
-Manage conference logistics
-Pitch various media channels
-Oversee/edit all public-facing content (including all content)

Minimum qualifications:

-BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
-4+ years of experience in journalism, copyediting, and PR coordination in the tech industry
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
-Goal-oriented individual who is confident, creative, outgoing, persuasive, and efficient
-Able to work independently but within a team environment.
