POSITION: Field Sales Professional (Outside Sales)

LOCATION: North Alabama (Huntsville, AL)

Prewett Pest Control is seeking a Field Sales Professional (Outside Sales/Home Evaluator) in our North Alabama market, including Huntsville and surrounding areas. This position requires someone self-motivated, competitive, success-driven, and has a proven sales track record. Our Field Sales Professionals are integral in growing PPC and its multiple locations from $3M to $25M in revenue by 2030. Your Responsibilities

  • Reflect our Core Values in all interactions, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Must be able to sell a minimum of $20k-$40k/month in annual contract value sales (TOP performers will sell $500k+/year)
  • Ability to sell both residential and commercial accounts, meeting determined sales targets
  • Build a marketing and sales plan for your assigned sales market and execute market growth
  • Proactively prospect in the community, including knocking on doors and building a pipeline of business prospects
  • Cross-sell existing customers through working a pro-active plan to contact and perform necessary inspections for additional services, including pest, termite, mosquito, or other one-time services as needed
  • Maintain pipeline and follow up on all cross-sell and pending leads
  • Responsible for administrative duties related to sales
  • Must be able to perform detailed property inspections for both residential and commercial customers, including crawl space, interior, exterior, and attic spaces
  • Participate and work closely with local Chambers of Commerce, Realtor Associations, Homebuilder Associations, and other networking organizations
  • Maintain company vehicle for a professional appearance
  • Some work outside of standard business hours may be required

What skills and experience are required?

Experience in pest control or service industry sales is preferred but NOT required.


  • Must be able to show a proven track record of successful sales, marketing, and prospecting
  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
  • Must be professional in appearance, with excellent communication skills, friendly disposition, and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population
  • Ability to use required technology and industry equipment
  • Keep up-to-date and maintain knowledge of current company services and products
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen, pass MVR, and maintain a clean driving record
  • Licensing/Certification required when applicable

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $30k-40k (based on experience)
  • Bonuses & Commission Potential: An average Field Sales Professional can expect to earn $65k/year, while high performers will earn $80k-120k/year
