Sales Management Associate

The Sales Management Development Program was created to recruit and train entrepreneurial minded leaders with a career path to open and manage additional Insurance & Financial Service Agencies and ultimately have the opportunity to own their own Agency. Each satellite location is run independently, yet strategically supported by our leveraged network of agencies. It is our goal to serve our clients’ needs and implement a “neighborhood footprint” throughout our servicing areas.  Download the Program Overview at 

Applicants to the program MUST possess internal drive, an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a high energy environment. The program is heavily focused on training and development in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Management with a primary focus on Sales Management.  Successful Associates will have completed a defined career path and ultimately have the opportunity to own their own location!  ​Upon successful completion of the program our associates will have the ability to stay in our Auburn location or move to other offices in Alabama and Georgia.  Areas include:  Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta, Dothan, Montgomery, Huntsville and Columbus.

** Property & Casualty Licensing prior to starting

Compensation Package
Base Salary + Commissions + Bonuses + Supplemental Benefits Package
Base Salary Range of $22K-$40K/year
Total Compensation Range of $40K-80K/year

Your Career Path

We’ve designed the Sales Development Program to outline a defined career path for highly successful individuals who desire to continually sharpen their skills in all aspects of business and entrepreneurship. This program is for individuals who desire to move up within the organization and into various areas such as senior level sales, agency management, financial services or have the desire to own their own agency one day. We promote from within our organization based on performance, not tenure. Upon successful completion of pre-determined goals and milestones, program participants have the ability to move up the career path set forth as quickly as he or she desires!

Sales Management Associate
The Sales Associate position consists of a 90 day training and development period with a heavy focus on client acquisition through proactive, outbound calling of sales leads and prospects. In addition to achieving prospecting and activity goals, a 30 day comprehensive training program is provided by Allstate Insurance Company during the 90 day period in which associates develop knowledge about insurance products, compliance, quoting and selling.

Junior Agent
Junior level responsibilities include client acquisition through proactive, outbound prospecting of sales leads as well as client retention, referral marketing and personal networking. In addition, Junior Sales Agents will assist in the recruitment and training of new Sales Associates. Junior Sales Agents will have pre-determined sales growth goals and have the ability to achieve these goals a s quickly as they desire.

Senior Agent
Senior Sales Agents have shown strong, internal drive and have demonstrated the ability to thrive and succeed in a hi-energy environment. In addition to focusing on new client acquisition, senior level responsibilities include recruitment and training of upcoming Sales Associates as well as comprehensive training in operations and management.

Agency Manager
Advancement opportunities at this level include managing and running a satellite office location. Individuals that have achieved this level will be responsible for executing all aspects of operating a successful satellite office, thus extending the footprint of Prewett Insurance Group. Key responsibilities will include sales, marketing, local community involvement, employee training and general agency operations.
