Position Overview:

We are seeking individuals with 5-10 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience, ideally who are familiar with varied designs of support of excavation (SoE), piling, sheeting, and caissons.  Ideal candidates possess strong personal initiative, excellent planning and problem solving capabilities, effective interpersonal skills, and an unwavering commitment to safety.


  • Perform designs of varied SoE applications, including stamping for submission
  • Perform pre- and post-bid alternative evaluations of various foundation methodologies
  • Work amidst Foundation Team to support success and team members
  • Coordinate, submit, and track foundation submittals
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
  • Assist and support management and job teams with varied design evaluations, cost evaluations, and submittal reviews

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or related
  • 5-10 years of experience working in the heavy civil industry
  • Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules and priorities
  • Keen awareness of industry recommended practices, OSHA requirements, and equipment
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Local travel (within 1-2 hours)

Additional Skills & Experience & Certifications:

  • NJ or PA Professional Engineering License required, additional state licenses a plus
