Design | Mountain View, CA | Full Time
We are looking for a talented UX Designer to help with the design for our hit mobile game “Choices: Stories You Play.” Choices is equal parts “app” and “game”, and you will be designing assets and features for both. This is a full-time position based in Mountain View, CA.
You would be working with a highly seasoned team, one that believes in delivering category-leading games that touch millions. Our employees are passionate about our players, and as a result, some players refer to our studio as “family.” They love our games’ focus on racial, gender, sexual, and identity diversity and hold us accountable when they expect more.

This would be for a full time, eventually on-site position in Mountain View, CA. Pre-covid, we worked from home two times a week, so our team is used to the productivity of remote work but also cares about building culture from in-office interactions.
Work closely with our Lead and Senior Designers on app and game features for Choices: Stories You Play.
Create deliverables such as wireframes, app flows, high and low fidelity UI mockups, interactive prototypes, icons and optimized game ready assets.
Execute on all design stages from concept to final delivery.
Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design.
Collaborate with artists and developers to transform concepts into a highly polished experience.
Clearly communicate your designs through use of sketches, feature documentation, mockups, and prototypes.
Meticulously test and validate designs in-game and create testing guidelines for QA.
Contribute throughout the whole lifecycle of game development shipping fun, innovative features played by millions.
3+ years of professional design experience.
Excellent UI design and visual design skills.
Excellent vector icon design skills.
Fluency in responsive app design.
Ability to find multiple high-quality, valid solutions to design problems.
Mastery of Photoshop, Sketch, Figma or equivalent software.
Strong grasp of modern app design patterns.
Must be able to receive direction and make changes to designs as requested.
Proven experience working on games or apps in a professional environment.
Experience with animation or building interactive prototypes.
Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
Regular player of mobile story games, especially Choices and its competitors.
A great attitude and desire to work in a team environment.
Not afraid to ask for help.
