User Acquisition Associate/Marketing Analyst

Job Description

Pixelberry Studios develops story-driven mobile games. We’ve had a lot of commercial success -- our first three releases have made the Top Grossing charts -- but we also try hard to make a positive difference in our players’ lives and the world at large. For instance, we’ve developed special content to raise money and awareness for nonprofits like the Cybersmile Foundation and the National Eating Disorders Association, and we are even collaborating with the United Nations on a climate change initiative. We think games can and should be a powerful force for good, and our company culture reflects that mindset.

Our marketing team is looking for a data and knowledge-hungry Marketing Analyst/User Acquisition Associate who will help us acquire users for Pixelberry Studios products. You will be focusing on leveraging Facebook, Google and Ad Networks to scale our current marketing campaigns. The candidate must have a passion for mobile games and be interested in performance marketing.

This is a full time position based in Mountain View, CA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are operating remotely at this time. Once we resume onsite operations, position is expected to work out of Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Launch, analyze and optimize mobile app traffic campaigns to acquire new users.

  • Research and present new campaign testing opportunities for active media buying channels.

  • Research and identify creative opportunities to share with the team, provide detailed analysis for best performing concepts for each channel.

  • Collaborate with design and content teams on production of new creatives.

  • Launch and analyze creative A/B testing.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a quantitative discipline.

  • 1+ year of experience working in a metrics-driven Marketing role.

  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Highly detail-oriented, being able to identify data discrepancies and troubleshoot them.

  • Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with other mobile stakeholders.

  • Experience in (and love for) casual and/or female-focused mobile games

Positives

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills.

  • Familiarity with performance mobile marketing concepts like CPM, CPC, CTR, CVR, ROAS, LTV, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead them through to implementation.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
